Q: Do I need a passport to travel to Jamaica?
Yes, a valid passport is required for all travelers entering Jamaica from the U.S. or abroad. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. If not traveling with a U.S. passport, please see essential travel information here.
Q: Which airport should I fly into?
The closest international airport to Negril is Montego Bay Sangster International Airport (MBJ), about 90 minutes from The Cliff Hotel.
Q: Is airport transfer provided to the resort?
Yes, The Cliff Hotel does coordinate transportation to and from the Sangster’s International Airport. Please email flight information to weddingsandevents@thecliffjamaica.com OR call at 1 800 213 0583 once booked for them to coordinate. Please send flight information no later than March 15th to the Cliff team.
Accommodations
Q: Where is the wedding taking place?
Our wedding will be held at The Cliff Hotel in Negril, Jamaica from May 22–25, 2026. The ceremony and reception will be on May 23, 2026.

Q: How do I book a room at the resort?
Please click ‘Reserve Room’ tab and select ‘Pay through hotel’.
Q: If I book through hotel, is the full amount due?
No, You will be sent an email from ‘reservations@thecliffjamaica.com’ where they will provide a separate link to pay one night upfront and the remaining sixty (60) days before check-in date. Room will not be reserved until you pay the first night’s room rate.
Q: Does the hotel have an elevator ?
No, it is a two story hotel with stairs only. However dining and events are wheelchair accessible.
Q: Are there other places to stay if The Cliff fills up?
While this is unlikely as we have reserved the hotel for our celebration. There are nearby resorts for overflow. These are Tensing Pen and Catcha Falling Star. If choosing to stay offsite and are on the guest list, you will still be able to attend the wedding and other events! Please email weddingsandevents@thecliffjamaica.com to coordinate day passes. This will be covered by the bride and groom.
Q: Are kids allowed?
Only if an invitation was specifically received with your child’s name on it.
Q: Can I bring a plus one?
Only if invitation details an additional guest.
Q: Can I come early or extend my stay?
Yes, we recommend it! Please email reservations@thecliffjamaica.com to coordinate. We’ve also included other options for nearby resorts in the ‘Reserve Room’ tab.
Payments & Costs
Q: If plans change when is the last day I can cancel my room and get a refund?
Should travel plans change, guests are responsible for advising the Hotel in writing no later than sixty (60) days prior to arrival date. The email to contact is reservations@thecliffjamaica.com
Q: What’s included in the room rate?
Rates include your room and the half board meal plan at the zest. The half board plan provides two daily meals at Zest Restaurant (drinks not included), access to hotel amenities, and a magical Jamaican cliffside experience.
Q: Will there be alcohol?
Yes, alcohol will be free and flowing at all wedding events. Outside of events you can purchase at any of the bars on property or at the restaurant.

Q: What if I choose to stay at another resort near The Cliff?
If choosing to stay offsite and are on the guest list, you will still be able to attend the wedding! Please email weddingsandevents@thecliffjamaica.com and CC jasonandshanique@gmail.com to coordinate. You will need to register at The Cliff Negril front desk to attend events.

Q: What’s the dress code for the wedding?
Official dress code is cocktail attire. Think: flowy dresses, linen suits, island-chic!
Q: Are there other events during the wedding weekend?
Yes! We’re working on optional events for our adventurers and foodies!
